East Chamber launch a workshop on the competitive advantage of community responsibility in companies
Organizedby the social responsibilityCenterEastChamber specialized workshoptitled(Socialresponsibility for companies..newcompetitive advantage,in the framework ofthe Chamberattentionto the development ofawareness of the importanceof social responsibility,andthe unification ofconceptsand their role inimproving the working environment,thetwo versions:the firstin Dammamdaily(22 and 23/February/2015), while thesecondis to be heldin Jubail,on 24 and 25/February/2015where it isreviewed and discussedmany of thethemes andearningCoknowledge neededto begin theestablishment ofspecialized departmentsin the field ofsocial responsibilityof businessfacilities.
The workshop aimstodevelop scientificandcareer pathsfor professionalsand workers inthe field ofsocial responsibility, as well asAppliedcapacity developmentin the field ofsocial responsibilityfor the participants,andbusiness developmentexperience andknowledge of theinitiativeprojectsandservicesCSRcompanies,andraise the level ofcapacityto evaluateprojects and programsin accordance with thecriteria and indicatorsof social responsibility,
It also examinesthe workshopto be held inthe main centerand the headquarters ofthe Chamber's branchin Jubaila number of issues, notably theconcepts anddimensions ofcorporate social responsibility,the importance ofsocial responsibilityfor thefacilities,and the statement ofthepros and consandhow to be acompetitiveadvantage for the company,and global standardsfor communityresponsible(Global Compact,ISO26000 EFQM,the theory ofstakeholders.
Andwill addressthe workshoptobuildsocial responsibilitystagesand guidanceand mechanismsto enable companies tobe applied, strategic planning, communityresponsibility,organizational structureand job descriptionsof communityresponsibilitywithin the company,professionalreportsof social responsibilityand sustainabilityGRIevaluation of the companyin terms ofthe application ofsocial responsibility,in addition tothe study ofpractical situationsfirmsappliedThe conceptof social responsibility.
According toSecretary General ofthe EastChamber, Mr. Abdulrahmanbin AbdullahAlwabil saidthat EastChambertookalongsidethe development ofprivate sector enterprisesof great significancein the field ofsocial responsibilitythrough a variety ofprograms that areheldannuallyandaims tovisitawareness anddothvalue thatis recognized whenthe field ofsocial responsibilitydevelopmentin these facilities.
